really, I'm not dead, and haven't abandoned the internet... 


various things have kept me busy. 

worked about 9 days straight, been still a little under the weather, so sleeping more then normal (scary I know)

and just trying to catch up on some things I've been meaning to do for a while...

small things like updating the firmware on my DVD drive... once I did that, the DVD-R's I had purchased recently are suddenly working with 100% reliability instead of about 40%.

setting up some christmas presents.

I've taken on some additional responsibility at work, so have some extra things to do at home now (initially a little overhead in getting organized, but it should save in the end) which I hope to be caught up on by Thursday.

all in all busy, but I'm trying to take it easy so I don't get really sick.

I hope to catch up on picture postings from the Holidays by Saturday night.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to a local Mac User Group for Seniors meeting to help answer any questions members might have, they meet once a week, and the 2 or 3 previous times I went, they always had a pile of questions, only 2-3 hours once a month, should be fun =)

plus tomorrow is also the MacWorld Expo in San Francisco, always interesting to see what Apple announces, usually updated software, how well the iTunes Music Store is doing, how well iPod sales are doing, and "one more thing!"

ok, back to my "to do list"
