Bathroom renovation

Starting March 4th, and Finally finishing on the 29th we renovated our bathroom.

most of it was preparation work until the 16th & 17th when the Tub/Show upgrade was put in by Bath Fitter

so here is the before (pictures taken sometime after we moved in)

We took down the curtains, removed the wallpaper (which was already coming off on it's own to some extent), removed the ugly pink plastic tiles, removed the built-in medicine cabinet (after the estimate from Bath Fitter, they knew that the medicine cabinet would be in the way)

Bath Fitter overlay an acrylic surround and tub, without having to tear everything out, so it's a fairly quick install. The did replace parts of the wall that had been water damaged, and the hot & cold water pipes were also replaced when it was found they were galvanized rather then copper.

Once Bath Fitter finished, we finished the putty work to smooth the walls, primed & painted, replaced the light, put in a new medicine cabinet/mirror new "over john" storage cabinet, and new towel & toilet paper holders.
